Introducing the staff who make KST happen

Mark Norridge — Principal

Mark is KST Principal and the Theology and Transforming Mission Track Leader. He studied Automotive Engineering and, after completing PGCE teacher training, worked at Rolls Royce Aero Engines. He took a career break to study Theology at King’s Bible College and moved on to plant a church in Northampton, working bi-vocationally as an IT consultant and pastor. Mark is currently studying for a MTh in Contextual Theology at All Nations Christian College.

Mark is passionate about the Church engaging missionally in the world, seeing transformation for individuals, communities and society as a whole. He believes that good theological training is the energy for the missional Church. Mark and his wife have 3 grown-up boys and two daughters-in-law who are a genuine joy!

Ruth Norris – Academic Dean

Ruth is KST Academic Dean and the Theology & Biblical Studies Track Leader. Her key responsibilities are to set and manage assignments, shape the curriculum and generally make sure that every student gets as much out of their KST experience as possible. Ruth is currently completing a PhD in Biblical Studies at the University of Cambridge. She holds a Master’s degree from Regent College Vancouver. Prior to this she was a secondary school music teacher, and schools outreach leader, evangelism trainer and ministry team worker for Basingstoke Community Churches.

Harriet Ferris – Operations Manager

Working 2.5 days a week, Harriet works to facilitate the smooth functioning of KST’s administrative processes, training weekends and communications. Harriet studied Geography and International Development at The University of Derby, which she later followed with a Master’s degree in Social Anthropology of Development with Swahili at SOAS in London. As well as living and working in settings across the UK, Harriet has lived in Kenya and Malaysia. She brings a wealth of cross-cultural experience and she is passionate about KST’s mission to nurture leaders for a dynamic and interconnected world.

Outside her responsibilities at KST, Harriet dedicates her time to volunteering for a charity in Tanzania, and contributes to initiatives aimed at sustainable development and social welfare. She is also very involved in London’s vibrant art and music scene, organising events that foster creativity and community engagement. On Sundays, you’ll find Harriet worshipping at her local church in London, where she is actively involved in programs like the Alpha course and her connect group. Her commitment to holistic development, both personally and professionally, reflects her belief in the transformative power of education and faith.
