Introducing the team who make KST happen

Mark Norridge — Principal

Mark is KST Principal. He studied Automotive Engineering and, after completing PGCE teacher training, worked at Rolls Royce Aero Engines. He took a career break to study Theology at King’s Bible College and moved on to plant a church in Northampton. As well as being principal of KST, Mark is part of the leadership of River Collective, a movement of churches in Northamptonshire. Mark recently completed a MTh in Contextual Theology at All Nations Christian College.

Mark is passionate about the Church engaging missionally in the world, seeing transformation for individuals, communities and society as a whole. He believes that good theological training is the energy for the missional Church. Mark and his wife have 3 grown-up boys and two daughters-in-law who are a genuine joy!

Ruth Norris – Academic Dean

Ruth is the KST Academic Dean and the Theology & Biblical Studies track Leader. She helps students to get as much out of their KST experience as possible, and she works with the team and tutors to shape the curriculum and its modules. In addition, she oversees the setting and management of assignments, the provision and running of our mentoring groups, and the short course programme. As well as a degree in music, Ruth holds two master’s degrees in theology, specialising in biblical studies (Regent College, Vancouver, and the University of Cambridge), and is currently completing a PhD in Biblical Studies at the University of Cambridge. Previously Ruth has worked as a secondary school music teacher, and on the ministry team for Basingstoke Community Churches, in which capacity she led the schools/youth outreach team and evangelism training.

Maddy Norridge – KST Operations

Maddy runs KST operations alongside Frances to facilitate the smooth running of behind the scenes KST. Maddy has been a member of the KST community for a long time having completed the course herself in 2020 and since then in a mentoring role, she particularly loves supporting first years to get into study mode and retain their enthusiasm for study. Maddy runs her own business housing homeless people across the UK. Maddy lives with her husband Mark in Northampton where they are part of the leadership of River Collective.

Frances Rawlins – KST Operations

Frances is happy to be working alongside Maddy to make the KST administration run smoothly. She loves a desk day, getting things done and also her dog Pip who is a Shepsky.

John Gridley – KST Marketing

John produces our publicity media for social media and conferences. He is married, to Jen, and has 3 amazing children. They are based in Carterton, Oxfordshire and lead Horizon Church. John is a worship leader and in his spare time loves to cycle, run and cook. He loves long walks on the beach and his measurements are 32, 28, 32.
