KST offers a unique opportunity to study alongside the demands of life, allowing for integration between work, faith and study. We desire to develop our courses and to keep KST accessible. This is made possible through our bursary and development funds.
Bursaries
Most KST students are employed alongside their studies, yet for some the cost of everyday life means that funding the course is very difficult. This applies especially to our students who are pensioners, single parents, or unemployed. Sometimes home churches are not able to assist students as much as they would like to.
We want every KST student to succeed in their theological studies, and to get the best out of the course. We want to be able to help those who are most in need, offering assistance with fees, travel costs and educational resources.
Development fund
We are committed to ensuring that the KST course continues to develop, and grows in depth and breadth. KST receives the vast majority of its income from student fees. These are kept low in order to be affordable and there is very little money left for developing the course in the way that we would like to.
We want to invest in improved educational resources, hire a new part time staff member, and expand our pool of expert tutors.
We need your help!
We are seeking individuals who will partner with KST and give on a monthly basis. To give you an example, £20 per month provides a full bursary for a student in need.
A one-off donation is also incredibly valuable to us and any money received will make a significant difference to KST.
Any gifts you give can be designated to either the Bursary or Development Fund.
